Cinque Quinti

Dynamic winery founded by five siblings in Italy's Piedmont region

Cinque Quinti

Cella Monte, Piedmont, Italy

Cinque Quinti’s winery and name arose from the desire of five siblings, Fabrizio, Martina, Michele, Francesca and Mario to continue a family-run activity founded four generations ago, giving it an innovative and fresh touch.

The first production was in the 2015 harvest, with Michele and Fabrizio on the production side, while Martina and Francesca created the brand’s identity.

The winery is based in Cella Monte, a charming village just a few kilometres from the historic capital of Monferrato. Cinque Quinti cultivates over 35 hectares of vineyards distributed across seven villages, a heritage that allows the selection of the best plots based on the desired freshness, tannicity, aroma, and body.

The winery has now also created a unique wine tourism offering, including tastings and events.

“The five siblings behind this ten-year old project based on making and selling Fratelli wine under their own brand rather than selling grapes alone has expanded from tentative beginnings. Now, they produce 50,000 bottles of wine from 12 varieties grown in the Monferrato hills that have been awarded by international press; testament to the dedication that they have poured into the enterprise.”
