Azienda Agricola Cincinelli Marco
Capolona, Arezzo, Italy
The Marco Cincinelli Agricultural Company is located in Capolona, in the Chianti Colli Aretini area, a few kilometers north of Arezzo.
Going up from the Tuscan capital towards the Casentino, in the hills between the villages of Bibbiano, Botti and Cenina, the wonderful natural amphitheater opens up in which the lands of the Cincinelli Company extend.
Here, in the Casentino area, far from any urban and industrial settlement, the Cincinelli company cultivates its own vineyards of Sangiovese, Mammolo, Syrah and Merlot grapes, as well as Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Ancillotta. The company properties extend for approximately 45 hectares of vineyards and 4 of olive groves which alternate with plots intended for sowing and wooded areas.
For over 20 years the Cincinelli family, guardians of their lands, has been committed to managing the vineyards in a totally organic manner, in order to create the healthiest possible habitat and thus follow the course of nature as much as possible.

L’Avanzo | 2016
As the word itself reveals, “The leftover” is what remains of the company’s Crus once bottled. In this vintage the blend is made up of 50% Sangiovese “Botti” and 50% “Il Legato”.
ruby red with slight garnet nuances, evolving nose, notes of small red fruits and wild herbs, intriguing and sensual. The bouquet has a great synergy between power and freshness, a well-defined tannin that suggests great aging potential, a pleasantly bitter finish.
Cinci | 2016
The child of experimentation: the result of microvinification tests, it is a wine mainly made from Sangiovese grapes with small percentages of Mammolo and Syrah from single vineyards.
Ruby red, of great impact, a wine that immediately stands out for its power and verticality. Followed by notes of ripe red fruit, which blend with notes of flowers macerated in alcohol.
The bouquet stands out for its great workmanship with round and polymerized tannins, the taste recalls the red fruit in full maturity, great closure of the warm and persistent mouth.
Botti | 2016
The grapes that give life to “Botti” come from a single vineyard of approximately 3 hectares of surface area, the average age of the plants is 40 years. The Sangiovese grapes are harvested by hand, in 15 kg perforated boxes. Once transported to the cellar, the grapes are manually loaded into the press for subsequent pressing. The vinification takes place in small fermentation tanks of 30-50 hl with subsequent refinement in large barrels and second passage barriques.
