Capolona, Arezzo, Italy
The Marco Cincinelli Agricultural Company is located in Capolona, in the Chianti Colli Aretini area, a few kilometres north of Arezzo.
The lands of the Cincinelli estate extend across a natural amphitheatre between the Tuscan capital and the Casentino, in the hills between the villages of Bibbiano, Botti and Cenina. In this rural idyll, Cincinelli cultivates 45 hectares of vineyards of Sangiovese, Mammolo, Syrah and Merlot grapes, as well as Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Ancillotta. Its vineyards are alternated with 4 hectares of olive groves, other crops and wooded areas.
The Cincinelli family has been cultivating the vineyards in a completely organic manner for over twenty years.

Botti
A great example of 100% Sangiovese from the single ‘Botti’ vineyard that’s made for ageing. With remarkable wild berry fruit, this wine has layers of complexity resulting from low-yielding, higher altitude vines, the use of French barrels, giving sweet pervasive balsamic, tobacco and liquorice notes. One to savour.
L’Avanzo
Featuring 70% Sangiovese and 30% Mammolo grown at 250m on calcareous clay soils, this wine has a fresh, savoury, sour-cherry character with fine tannins that support a medium-bodied palate with lots of rusticity. Fermentation is in stainless steel, but the wine spends at least some time in cement vats and a portion in large barrel where it develops richness and complexity.
